Every day, SpeedQL offers a new SQL exercise, identical for all players. The 365 questions of the calendar are all different and go from level 2 to level 8: enough to keep improving all year, a few minutes a day.

How does the daily SQL exercise work?

• Each date of the year has its own question, set in advance: 1 January always has the same one, for example.
• Difficulty rises over 7 days (from level 2 to level 8), then the cycle starts again.
• Exercises are numbered from the launch: exercise #1 was on 22 September 2026, and the numbering keeps going without ever starting over.
• A new exercise arrives at midnight, your device’s time. No timer: your time and number of tries are simply recorded.
• The Hint button helps in two steps: the topic to use, then the structure of the query.

Keep your day streak going

Every daily exercise you solve extends your streak; a missed day resets it, but your best streak stays on display. Streak and best score are kept in your browser, with no account: they stay on the device you play on.

The other SpeedQL modes

Timed game

You start with 1 minute; every correct answer adds 1 to your score and 30 seconds to the clock. The level goes up every 5 correct answers, with no limit. From level 5, a mistake costs 5 s, and “Skip” costs 10 s. Start a timed SQL game.

What time does the daily SQL exercise change?

At midnight, your device’s time: a new exercise arrives every day at 00:00, according to the clock of your phone or computer.

Is the daily exercise the same for everyone?

Yes. Each date of the year has its own question, set in advance and the same for every player: 1 January always has the same one, for example.

How hard is the daily exercise?

What happens if I miss a day?

Your day streak goes back to zero, but your best streak stays on display.

Can I get my streak back on another device?

No. With no account, your streak and best score are kept in the browser of the device you play on: they do not sync between devices.

Since when has the daily SQL exercise existed?

Exercise no. 1 is dated 22 September 2026. The numbering has continued since then and never starts again from zero.
